Constructed of silvered and patinated zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number 25, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set around a central Panzer IV rolling over logs, with its left tread tending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo style pinback
