A German-Made M1909 Bayonet, By Simson & Co Of Suhl Archive Medal for the Liberation ofThis bayonet features a 522 mm long steel blade, magnetic, incorporating a bright finish along with a very sharp blade and a very sharp tip, the fuller running three quarters of the length of the bayonet on both sides, maker marked "SIMSON & Co SUHL" on the reverse ricasso. The blade is embedded into the heavy steel crossguard that is designed with a short downward pointing quillon at one end, stamped with an undetermined crowned monogram on the top
