Germany, Hj. A 1939 District Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, By Ferdinand Wagner Hold then Editor of The Saturday(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, around a white enameled disc overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel, in turn bearing a HJ insignia, topped by an inscription of KREISSIEGER, flanked by a date of 1939, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened wire catch, maker marked
