Bands were bubbling up from the underground, maintaining their weirdness but gaining more mainstream success. It pushed the popular conversation left of center and resulted in some amazing and timeless albums. Take these two bands for example: Dinosaur Jr. and My Bloody Valentine. They were both founded in the 80s and played some of the loudest and most melodic songs in a while. In 1992, the two met up for some shows in
