Instituted 1729. An extremely well made embroidered star of the order composed of a Maltese cross, hand embroidered in blue cloth, with bordering in silver bullion, ball finials are loops for attachments, reverse presents a fine and well preserved manufactures tag for H. Vogel, Hofsticker in Mnchen Max Platz No 252, measuring 55 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), a lightly worn example, extremely fine.
