Composed of silver gilt, a five point red enamel star with a blue enamel border, superimposed on a five point star consisting of clusters of five smooth rays, the obverse center presenting the inscription 30 DECEMBRIE 1947 surrounded in a silver gilt wreath, the reverse bears a single pin suspension with two rivets, measures 69. 12mm (w) x 66. 42mm (h), weighs 54. 3 grams,
