Germany, Wehrmacht. A Commemorative Totenkopf Ring Archive Buckle with a two-piece construction(Totenkopf Fingerring). Constructed of a silvered brass alloy, the exterior bearing a central raised Totenkopf, flanked on each side by clusters of oak leaves, unmarked, corresponding to a mens size 9, demonstrating minor loss of finish to high contact points which has exposed the brass base, a quintessential example of a ring commonly purchased as a service memento by Wehrmacht and Waffen SS personnel, in extremely fine condition.
