Germany, Wehrmacht. A Model 38 Horse and Mule Gas Mask, with Case, by Drägerwerk Newly Listed 7mm (l) x 76(Wehrmacht Pferdegasmaske 38). A well preserved Model 38 horse and mule gas mask, constructed of a heavy slate grey rubber casing, featuring frontal and lateral filters fixed in position with rubber straps securing magnetic metal loops, with the former unfastening to allow for filter replacement, with a hollow interior featuring a malleable lip to form a tight seal around the animals muzzle, flanked on each side by magnetic metal buckles accompanied
